Inventory by location
Pre-shopping is one of the major uses of eCommerce sites and more than 50% of shoppers start shopping online even if they plan to purchase in store. One of the projects we completed last year in the runup to Christmas was a redesign for Daniadown, the BC based retailer of bedding with a worldwide reputation for high quality duvets. While we did our first inventory by location site in 2007 for Kidsbooks, with 16 locations and products that come in a variety of sizes and colours, we had to come up with a new model for Daniadown. Now shoppers can lookup product inventory in their closest store and find out which products are web exclusives, so they can buy online or have a more efficient shopping trip...
